Writing Community Love

I have been so blessed to have found an encouraging and talented community of writers.  One of the first writers that welcomed me was Morgan Wylie.  And I am so excited to announce the release of her first novel, Silent Orchids.  This was the first book I have been asked to Beta read and it was such an honor.  SQUEE!  It has been amazing to watch Morgan as she walked thru the process of independently releasing her first book.  This has been extremely helpful and educational, since I am writing my first novel.  But it has also been quite an honor to see someone’s story come to fruition.  I love Silent Orchids and am so happy for Morgan.  I was so excited to be able to officially purchase her book on Amazon.  I wanted to remember the occasion so I have some screen shots to share.  🙂

It really is so exciting, I feel like its my book too!  I actually jumped up and down when I saw the book on Amazon, in my Kindle & my name in the Thank You’s!

Morgan even asked me to contribute to a video she did with the AWESOME Kallie Ross for Bookshelfbanter.com.  We did a fun Newlywed style game with questions about Silent Orchids.  It was tons of fun!!  Here is part one of the videos.

So everyone, if you are ready for a great YA fantasy, please check it out.  This weekend it is 99 cents!!
